Will The Extraterrestrials Be Calling Us Soon?

The universe is a wide and open space. There are too many aspects of the system that continues to baffle scientists and astronomers with each new discovery of the amazing solar system and the universe a whole.
The Earth
This is a place we all call home. The Earth is a unique place that is different from all the other planets in the solar system. As far as our knowledge tells us, the Earth is the only place where intelligent life form exists. The Earth is the only place that has features to support life form and possess unique elements that deems other planets unsuitable for any form of file. At least, when life needs basic things that we know if-oxygen, water and suitable environmental factors.
The Life Corridor of the Sun
The distance between the orbits of Venus to the Orbit of Mars is known as the life corridor of the Sun This are is just perfect to sustain life form, whereby the atmosphere is far from being too hot, unlike Mars and neither is as cold as Venus. Mars has a small atmosphere, which makes it unsuitable to hold life and Venus, wile it is about the right size for sustaining life, is far too imbued with its ever present greenhouse effect, which makes life on the planet impossible.
Everything has a Purpose
While Venus may seem useless as a living planet, it does seem to sustain some form of purpose for its existence. Rather the existence of giant gaseous planets acts as a form of shield to prevent Earth from being shattered by runaway comets, stray asteroids and its like. Back in 1994, Schumacher-Levy 9 came into impact with Planet Jupiter. Should those comets had hit the Earth back then all life form on Earth would be destroyed. .
Wobble it Baby
The Earth has a very special quality-it wobbles! Much like a cradle that rocks the sleeping baby into dreamland, Earth has a gentle rocking motion that gives Earth its seasons. The Moon which is nearby to the planet, gives the tide. The rise and fall of the sea and its tide is very much determined by the positioning of the Moon.
Probably this is the catalyst that allows the first lifeform to exist in this planet. The tidal waves and the seasonal changes may cause the first life form to emerge and escalate into bigger and more evolved forms f organism we know today.
Oceans of Life
Earth is covered with land and water. We know that water is crucial to sustain any form of life on tis planet but there is another function of water that may be overlooked. Probably you have heard about the greenhouse effect and wonder how this effect can be eliminated. There is a vital function that the greenhouse effect serves. The water vapour trapped in the atmosphere is responsible for the warming effects of the earth, without that we would all freeze to death in no time at all.
Time scales
The time factor is another important aspect. Humans have been here for less than a quarter million years, and we know of the effects form the last natural disaster that wipes out all forms of lie on Eat, including the dinosaurs. Therefore we do not have a time scale to know when and were our own existence will end on this planet. The duration of the survivability of the human species remains a mystery.
